Pretty Little Liars Renewed For Two More Seasons

Things are looking pretty good for the cast of hit show Pretty Little Liars. The teen drama has just been renewed for two more seasons, Variety reported on Tuesday. The show, which is the highest-rated series in the ABC Family network’s history, will begin its fifth season tonight.

“Pretty Little Liars has taken its place in the zeitgeist and reigns supreme in pop culture,” ABC Family’s Tom Ascheim said in a statement. “I am glad to bring another two seasons to our audience, because ‘A’ has a lot in store for our Liars.”

The show is now the most tweeted-about scripted series telecast of all time, pulling in millions of viewers each week. It is also the top scripted show on Instagram (with regard to its number of followers).

According to Variety, season six will air in the middle of 2015, while season seven is scheduled to premiere sometime in 2016.

The show’s stars, including Lucy Hale, Nia Peeples, Ashley Benson and Chad Lowe, recently celebrated Pretty Little Liars’ 100th episode with a party on the rooftop of the W Hotel in Hollywood. Nearly all of the show’s cast members attended the event, which took place on May 31.

Gallery Announcement

I have been trying to reorganize the gallery’s ftp for the past couple of weeks now to make it more organized, unfortunately that hasn’t been easy! I am downloading and reorganizing it in my spare time and once it’s done I will reupload all the pictures.

What does this mean for the Pretty Little Liars updates? I’ll continue to update the screen captures and just move them when the time comes. There shouldn’t be too much interruption but I will let you know if there’s going to be any downtime on the gallery!

Lucy Hale Talks “Season of Forgiveness” for Ezria

For the past week, we’ve been bringing you exclusive interviews with the stars of ABC Family’s smash series, and now, with the season five premiere less than 48 hours away, our devotion continues.

We caught up with PLL star Lucy Hale in Rosewood’s finest coffee shop to get all the goods on her will-they-won’t-they relationship with Ezra ( Ian Harding). Despite the fact that our favorite English teacher committed the “ultimate no-no,” will Aria be able to forgive him? You can watch the video to the answer right here

Warning: All of you Ezria fans might want someone nearby to catch you, because y’all are about to swoon!

In addition to this being the “season of forgiveness,” Hale reveals that each of the liars now must confront their relationship with Ali since our queen bee has returned from the grave.

“Yes they’re overjoyed that their friend is alive and back and they missed her, and they love her dearly but things are not the same as when she left,” The country music starlet spilled. “They all kind of grew as individuals, and now that she’s back they can’t just pick up where they left off.”

What’s Carrie Underwood’s Advice for Lucy Hale?

Lucy Hale has just made her debut in country music with the release of ‘Road Between’ on Tuesday (June 3). One of the most successful women in country today, Carrie Underwood, has some advice for the newcomer, and it’s pretty darn good.

“Just be strong,” Underwood advises. “Country music is definitely in need of more really strong females.”
The lack of women in country has been on the radar of the industry for a while, and even superstars like the ‘Blown Away’ singer admit there’s a problem, and there’s a shortage of females on top of the charts — with some startling facts to prove it. That’s why Underwood’s advice to Hale is so poignant — and will hopefully embolden one more talented songstress to hit the country music scene in a big way.

Hale isn’t a stranger to the empowerment that happens when women join together. Her hit show ‘Pretty Little Liars’ portrays some very strong female friendships, and she’s all about it. “We live in a society where females are very hard on each other,” Hale tells TIME.

“For me, I think it’s cool to see four different, very independent girls still be there for each other despite all the chaos that’s going on in their lives. It sets a strong tone. Friends are everything, and female friends are everything. Girls are too hard on each other, and I think the show sets a good message.”

If Hale can bring that sense of camaraderie and tenacity to country, it will work well in her favor.
She’s an undeniable country fan, explaining, “I knew what genre I wanted. I’ve never doubted country music — I’ve always wanted to do that. But when you’re making a first album, you have the ability to do whatever you want. You only get one first album, and you have to set the stage and tone for the rest of your musical career. No pressure or anything! I just wanted it to be a really clear picture of me.”

Hale, Underwood, Lambert, Taylor Swift, and so many others are among female country artists who are being strong and staying true to themselves. Hopefully, that number will only continue to grow.
