Pretty Little Liars Renewed For Two More Seasons

Things are looking pretty good for the cast of hit show Pretty Little Liars. The teen drama has just been renewed for two more seasons, Variety reported on Tuesday. The show, which is the highest-rated series in the ABC Family network’s history, will begin its fifth season tonight.

“Pretty Little Liars has taken its place in the zeitgeist and reigns supreme in pop culture,” ABC Family’s Tom Ascheim said in a statement. “I am glad to bring another two seasons to our audience, because ‘A’ has a lot in store for our Liars.”

The show is now the most tweeted-about scripted series telecast of all time, pulling in millions of viewers each week. It is also the top scripted show on Instagram (with regard to its number of followers).

According to Variety, season six will air in the middle of 2015, while season seven is scheduled to premiere sometime in 2016.

The show’s stars, including Lucy Hale, Nia Peeples, Ashley Benson and Chad Lowe, recently celebrated Pretty Little Liars’ 100th episode with a party on the rooftop of the W Hotel in Hollywood. Nearly all of the show’s cast members attended the event, which took place on May 31.

Lucy Hale Talks “Season of Forgiveness” for Ezria

For the past week, we’ve been bringing you exclusive interviews with the stars of ABC Family’s smash series, and now, with the season five premiere less than 48 hours away, our devotion continues.

We caught up with PLL star Lucy Hale in Rosewood’s finest coffee shop to get all the goods on her will-they-won’t-they relationship with Ezra ( Ian Harding). Despite the fact that our favorite English teacher committed the “ultimate no-no,” will Aria be able to forgive him? You can watch the video to the answer right here

Warning: All of you Ezria fans might want someone nearby to catch you, because y’all are about to swoon!

In addition to this being the “season of forgiveness,” Hale reveals that each of the liars now must confront their relationship with Ali since our queen bee has returned from the grave.

“Yes they’re overjoyed that their friend is alive and back and they missed her, and they love her dearly but things are not the same as when she left,” The country music starlet spilled. “They all kind of grew as individuals, and now that she’s back they can’t just pick up where they left off.”

Pretty Little Liars 5.01 Surfing the Aftershocks Synopsis

Alison struggles with the death of her mother, as the Liars try to navigate through her new lie in “Surfing the Aftershocks,” an all-new episode of ABC Family’s hit original series “Pretty Little Liars,” premiering Tuesday, June 24th (8:00 – 9:00 PM ET/PT).

Now being forced to live through Ali’s latest lie, Aria, Emily, Hanna and Spencer try to cover their tracks, while simultaneously trying to piece together what happened in New York. Hanna and Aria have to close loose ends with the two people who know the truth about Ali’s story – Mona and Ezra. Spencer and Emily try to find out the truth about Jason and his whereabouts the night they were in New York.

Meanwhile, Hanna starts to examine who she really is – Hefty Hanna or Queen Bee Hanna – now that Ali is back.

“Pretty Little Liars” is produced by Alloy Entertainment in association with Warner Horizon Television and is executive produced by I. Marlene King, Oliver Goldstick, Leslie Morgenstein and Joseph Dougherty. The series stars Troian Bellisario, Ashley Benson, Tyler Blackburn, Lucy Hale, Ian Harding, Laura Leighton, Shay Mitchell, Janel Parrish and Sasha Pieterse.

Lucy Hale Confesses: “I used to have a crush on one of my castmates!”

So who was the lucky castmate? Read below to find out.

Lucy Hale‘s Pretty Little Liar‘s character, Aria, may be good at keeping secrets, but Lucy is not. The talented star just recently revealed the she used to have a crush on one of her PLL costars – OMG!

“I used to have a crush on one of my castmates — and it’s not who you think,” Lucy says.

We can’t help but wonder who it could be! There are so many hot guys on the show that it could almost be anybody. Since Lucy said it wasn’t someone we would expect, we are guessing her crush wasn’t on Ian Harding, who plays Ezra.

While Lucy may not be sharing who exactly she was crushing on, the star did spill that her song “Lie A Little Better” was about her mysterious costar crush.
